big cams and the AC?

big cams and the AC? how do the big cammed street cars do with the AC on. I was thinking about an MS4 but I want the AC to run perfect as normal. (TEXAS) I remember in my 6spd with hotcam the car would die with it on..but it was never tuned. Is it all in the tune?
