head swap ??????
head swap ?????? I just finished up my head swap and car seems to be running okay. I went from 241s to ported 317 to go with my sts. Before I used to pull 20" vacuum now im pulling 18.5" vacuum, there doesn't seem to be any leaks. I also have not hooked the y pipe up yet. IS a small drop in idle vacuum normal?
Also I was going to reuse my 918 springs off the 241 heads but three of them where broken. ONe intake and one exhaust on 1 head and one exhaust on another head. They broke right under the reatainer, is that where the problem ones where breaking?
I'm running the stock 317 heads on my 02 zo6 cam for now, Wil think of some duals in the near future.
