Default Need some technical help????

I think this is the right place to ask this? I have an '86 mustang coupe, and have an LS1 out of a '01 corvette. My question is how big of a cam can I run that will make the most power without flycutting my pistons. The setup I have is a Victor Jr. intake with a BG750 carb, a th350 w/ a 4000-4200 stall,an 8.8 w/ 4.30 gears and the car will probably only be 2800 lbs. with me in it. I have been told several different things and I would like a good answer. I am building on a budget and don't mind spending good money on the right parts, but can't afford buying parts that don't work, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ms4, trex, g5x3 ...i believe around .630-.640 lift but it depends on duration and what heads you plan to run, with stock heads all of those will clear w/out flycutting. but you wont be able to run anything larger than a 1.7 rr i believe. i'm sure others will chime in.

Yeah, I have stock heads already bolted on. With any of those cams listed what is the tightest LSA I can run?? I don't mean to sound dumb, I am very new to the gen III stuff and appreciate the help.
