Default Cold start = rich ?

Hi,

Is it normal in a H/C car (MS4) To be runnin A/F ratio aroun 13.8-14
when started cold ?

When it heats up it stays around 14.5-15 when idle

Someone ?

yep, should be a tad rich until it reaches operating temp...

That is about right. What plugs are you running? I have also seen colder plugs run rich for a while before they smooth out. Then there are also broken plugs which cause a car to run bad at idle as well. Most of the latter will show an air fuel of around 13.0 at idle

mine aroun 13:1 or the firt few seconds then 14:1 then normal (14.7-15.0)

mine is @ 10.5:1 then goes to 13:1 after a few minutes.
Going to get a new tune in a couple of weeks. (thank GOD!)
