oil presure problem!!!!! Please help
oil presure problem!!!!! Please help I just put header and true duals on my 98 camaro and the oil preasure gauge
is not working right. I logged the oil preasure in efilive and it said
consistantly the prreasure was -106kpa. But the gauge needle stays barely below the
first 1/4 mark and stays there. Before I put the headers on the reader about
40-45 steady at idle. now this problem. please help

Re: oil presure problem!!!!! Please help I think figured it out. I took out my sending unit harness and started the engine. Then connected it back in when the engine was running. The needle went instantly to the 1/4 mark 20-25 psi. Well when I did the headers I did an oil change. I got a good deal on some 0w-30 for half price. I up mixed it with some 15w-50. I used 2 15-50's and 4 0-30's. I just think because it is so thin that its reading low. ANY input
