Help Please !! LS1 Roller Rocker Arms
Help Please !! LS1 Roller Rocker Arms I need some help and given it's the weekend, the vendor is not available.
I have a bone stock 2002 LS1 from a Camaro SS.
I bought these rockers which came yesterday:

Also bought the matching 3/8" rocker studs.
Last night I installed the guide plates and studs. When I test fitted a rocker arm on the stud the arm that is over the push rod the end of the arm did not clear the edge of the head where the valve cover seals.
I have done some pretty dumb things in my mechanical past, but what am I missing. It appears as if there is NO physical way these rockers are going on this engine.
The bad news is I'm supposed to be on the track this coming weekend and this comes at a very bad time.

Thank you. Because of the amount of overlap, I would have to cut out the whole edge. The overlap is at least 1/8th of an inch, which is as thick as the edge of the head.
