Valve Spring Colors Trying to find out the valve spring colors for 98 -03 for LS1 and LS6, any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
So far I, here is what I have. (Not much):
2001 LS6= Blue (Supposedly only "Blue" work w/any LS1)
2002 LS6= Green
2003 LS6= Yellow
This is all I have. Please help me with all other years, etc.

Re: Valve Spring Colors All the stock LS1 springs I've seen are unpainted. I did see some on a 02 that had a brown stripe on them.
All the 01 LS6 springs I've seen are blue.
02 and 03 LS6 springs can either be yellow or green.
Any of these springs will fit a LS1 head with a stock retainer and keepers. Whether or not any of these springs will work on a LS1 depends on the cam you are using.
