Default PTV Degree Kit

Who makes one that will work with an LS1 to check piston valve clearence? Summit has like three different ones. I just want the one that will work. I have a set of Dart 205cc heads that have been in the box tooooo long. I have .040 head gaskets and ARP head bolts but have not started due to possibly needing the pistons flycutting. Someone was going to send me the cutters but never did so I need cutters also.

I am keeping the cam 233/595 112 because it works great.

Thanks.
Bill

I bought the Comp heads on kit because it has more pieces, and then bought their dial indicator extender. The other invaluable tool is their oil pump crank sprocket. This goes over the end of the crank and locks in place. Then there is a small knurled screw onto which the degree wheel is mounted. Very slick setup.

What vendor did you get them from? Do you know the part numbers?

Thanks,
Bill

I bought the Jegs set for $99. Bought the crank socket from Powerhouse tools.

Here's my list, I finally bought them from Skoggins-Dickey. Here is an interesting sidebar. I also ordered ARP Assembly Lube. JEGS treats this as hazardous shipping and the shipping fee was huge. SDPC had the best price on pretty much everything once you figured in shipping and I got the pieces quick.

Comp Cams LS1 Crankshaft Socket 4914 $47.95
Comp Cams Cam Degree Kit 4796 $134.95
ARP Assembly Lube 070-100-9903 $7.69
Comp Cams Dial Indicator Extension 4912 $13.99
