Default Open headers vs. cutout?

I was just wondering what the difference in sound is, I have open headers right now and it sounds like ****. The cutout would be in the I-pipe

Im not completely positive but I think running open headers would cause the spark plugs to foul quickly with the O2 being so close to the open air I think it would sense it and add fuel??

Id do the cut out in the I or put two in the y, like the QTP setup....my friends is like that and it sounds amazing!!

I had my car open headers for about 4 months and just put the off road y-pipe and Magnaflow exhaust back on. The car sounded like **** open headers but ran great. Now that the exhaust is back on I have been having major problems. I think being open, it fouled the plugs, O2 sensors, and MAF. I now have a manual cutout in the I pipe and think it sounds great and now that I have replaced all of the fouled sensors My car is running just as good as it was open headers. I say cutout in the I pipe.

open headers? How do you bare that sound...You attract way more attention than you need to with that. I have a cutout in the y pipe and it sounds awesome

I have the QTP y-pipe with the twin cutouts and it sounds awesome. http://www.youtube.com/hitmanlsx all 3 are with the cutouts open. the one vs the evo is with the windows up.

I am planning on getting turndowns on the outlets though to help with interior drone, well after a lil engine work.
