OK this is driving me a little batty now. I bought a used cam from a board member - no card with it , looks good, says its a 224/224 .563 .563 on a 112 so I started to think- I hope thats what it is - I don't want to find out later its a nitrous friendly or blower type that would run poorly in a N/A motor that I'm building the numbers on the back of the cam are 1721 Sl3 0353 , i called Thunder racing, Speed inc, Comp, Cammotion - no one was able to say it was theirs ?? ?? so now Im kinda worried - I don't want to have to swap this later, so now I wish I'd spent the bucks and bought a new one . so I'm asking here - does anyone have an idea what this is?if not Comp Cams said they would measure it up for me, guess I could sleep at night now, now one more question , what spring would you go with on a cam like spec'd above? Z06? 918? or duals and forget it? thanks for all the advice ahead of time!

dont know other vendors cam specs, but that sounds like a tr224/224 563. 563. 112lsa, at least thats the cam i have. 918 will do fine with that cam. i dont remember if tr marks their cam with paint. sorry

You have a stock 01+ LS1 cam. GM prints the last 4 digits of the part # on their cams.

Lift I/E .467/.479
Dur @ .050 196/207
LSA 116
