I have a 2002 ls1. I currently installed the ms3 cam and 5.3 ported heads. I also ran their hardened 7.4 inch pushrods. my question is, i also used the felpro 1041's which run a .041 thickness. i have not ran the engine yet, but do you think i'll have ptv issues? I installed the cam in dot to dot. I might tear it down and fire the factory gm ones in. So far just by turning it over it looks like i have lots of room. Anyone run this setup yet?

 

I'm running it right now but I have forged pistons with valve reliefs.

Pull the head and check the PTV, not that hard and won't take a lot of time. Better safe than sorry
