Default Head gasket blown?

Well at first I thought that it was just my radiator cap that went bad because whenever i shut the car off it would puke coolant out the overflow tank. But today it started doing it while it was running. The car doesn't overheat at all just boils over. I'm thinking it's my head gasket leaking pressure into the cooling system. Should I pull the heads first or is there something easier I can do to figure out what the problem is first.

I would get a radiator pressure tester, presurise the sytem for a half hour, pull the plugs and see if water shoots out when you crank it

i heard of people using a brand of block sealer in the radiator when they have had a bad gasket or cracked head or block and that has fixed it, but i have never done it myself so i cant say it would work or not, check into it. you also would think you might be seeing thick white smoke coming out of exhaust if your gasket was leaking.just some thoughts!

Well I'm pretty sure now that it's my water pump. I got a pressure tester from autozone and pumped it up to 18lbs and it started leaking coolant from what I guess is the weep hole on the bottom of the water pump. So looks like a new meziere is in my plans now

If you have a NAPA near you they should have a HC and CO emissions tester . You can test to see if you have any emissions gas in your coolant. If do then if is a head gasket.
