Default F14 hp question..

Got the car dyno tuned the other day and it put down 375rwhp and 368rwtq. They guy that tuned it does very nice work around here so I dont think ihe did anything wrong, i was just planning on the car putting down around 400+hp and 390+tq. what do you all think?

stock heads, ASP Underdrive Pulley Kit, LT's, F14 cam 232/234 .598/.598 112lsa +2 (110icl), lid, Ported TB, LS6 intake, crappy flowmaster..

It seems different cars make different power. My Buddies car made 464rwhp and 431rwtrq with the F14 high lift cam and the same heads as I have. My car made 423rwhp with a F14 high lift that Allan changed a little due to the heads I was going with. But this was through a slipping tranny.

You did not mention what exhaust you are running. From the mod list you did mention though I am sure that Ls1 intake you have is not helping.

I made 375/364 through my 98 M6 with stock ls1 intake stock heads, mac headers, hooker cb, slipping stock clutch, and a Comp 232/234 .595/.598 112 your numbers should be better since you have the ls6 intake, ported tb, and the asp pulley. How does it feel on the street? Yours peaked just about where my cam did, 6400. I would change the flowmaster, that should help.

You should have made more than that. What was your baseline, before cam?

Im looking into redoing the exhaust soon because of the crappy flow of the flowmaster, i just like the sound... not sure what im going to swap it over to. my roomy has true duals and it is a bit loud for me.. With a slightly larger cam and w/o a few little things like underdive and such he put down 410rwhp and 378rwtq by the same tuner.

PREDATOR-Z:
before the came only i do not know. the car bone stock put down 311hp and 319tq and didnt dyno again untill i was finished with the cam.

If you have the $$ do a compression and a leakdown test. You should have hit closer to 400 with that cam and mods. something is not correct.

That's good power. My car made around that much to the wheels minus the underdrive pulley kit, minus the cam, minus the ported TB. I only had Pacesetter LT's, ORY, LM1, LS6 IM, Volant Intake. :-)
