Help with heads please NA set up What heads for a 224 cam?
Looking for 2 choices
1 if no budget AFRs, trick flows?
2 On a budget Texas speed,patriot, etc etc
What do you guys think or suggest cam is
224/224 .581 .581 112 LSA
ls6 intake
UD pulley
LG streets, x pipe , no cats
borla stingers
halltech CAI
Pure street car will see track once a year at most
Reason i'm looking at the texas speed heads closely is i got my cam from them they could match my cam up but im sure any head company can, and at the price they are at i can also add a fast 92/92 set up at the same time for the price of the high end after market heads.
My number one choice is the 5.3 stg 2.5 from texas speed for 1200 bucks.
Anyone run these heads and have anything to say about them?
Could you tell me if anyone can guess what kinda gains i would see with
1. Adding High end heads AFR, Trickflow, etc
2. Adding ported 243 heads or 5.3 texas speed, patriot, aka budget heads
3. Adding a fast to the high end heads
4. Adding a fast to the budget heads
