Default which cam with low end power from 2k to 6k?

I want the tranny to shift at 6,200 max..which cam only set-up will give me 4 tenths with long tubes and a tune? This is mostly a bracket car.
Thanks

Is this the optimal torque cam? I was of the opinion that the low duration 224/224 cams where old school, and that you could achieve the same results on low end power w/ a cam that is high 220s low 230s, but achieve better top end power.

I guess this was is untrue though since every cam makes power at ONE optimal RPM. So i guess the smaller the cam, the better the low end torque. Of course, I don't think people loose low end torque when they go with an aftermarket cam which is obviouse larger than stock.

Patrick, since I'm looking for low to mid-range power this cam sounds about right.. should I use beehive double springs and stock everything else, ie. pushrods and rockers?
Thanks

I did not list lift because your springs will determine how aggressive you can go on cam lobes.

For 918 beehive springs I would go 224/224 .568/.568 110LSA +4 with Comp XE lobes and 7.400" pushrods.

For Patriot Extreme dual valve springs I would go 224/224 .609/.600 110LSA +4 with Comp XFI lobes and 7.425" pushrods (to account for the smaller base circle of the cam).

Stock rockers are fine with either cam.
