Pulled pushrods need help
My cars been ticking and I decided to take a look at the DRIver side pushrods.Well I found some bent pushrods atleast I think there bent..But my question is how do I install the new ones????Just drop them in and tighten the rocker assembly back?????
I just read I was supposed to turn the engine over using the crankshaft pully???But I didnt do any of that!!Now what??

You will need to turn the engine over to torque down the rockers. The easiest way to check and see if a ppushrod is bent is take it out and roll it on a flat piece of glass. (like from a window pane).
Clean new pushrods thoroughly. I then submerge in oil to fill them. I drop them all in, then coat top of pushrod and valve stem with Redline Assembly Lube and then install rockers. Here is the GM procedure:
I just put them all in there, torque em down, spin the crank around one revolution and torque them all again. Rarely do any of them move on the second pass, buts its nice to be certain.
