Default Pushrod help

I have a VERY LOUD valvetrain. I am using the stock pushrods and think it could be the cause. I know I need a length checker but wanted to throw my setup out and get some guesses on length I should order.

Iron 370ci
317 heads stg 2.5 by TEA, milled .010"
224/232 .585/.595 114 lsa
harland sharp rockers and caddy lifters

also this is a procharged car and after 6600rpm seems to fall on its face....

Your pushrods might be too short, that and you need hardened pushrods as well.

well pushrod length checkers are only like $24 i would definately buy one. There is a very good posibility that they are too short. Too short means not enough lifter preload which means a harder hit on the lifter with the pushrod, less valve opening, and poor top end from low lift. I'd assume it would be like retarding the cam a couple degrees due to the delay in pushrod action.
