Default another "how much HP" with G5X2/LS6

I know everyone says use the search button and trust me...I DID! I didnt get too much info with people running the LG G5x2 cam with LS6 heads

Anyways i was just curious on how much power i should make with this combo? I have full bolt-ons as you can see everything i get is in my sig. I will also be having it tuned to get the full potential out of it.

So what are your guesses??? I hoping for 400+RWHP
(BTW, specs 232/240 595/609 112LSA)

damn! i will be happy with those numbers but with a ls6 short block and corvette drivetrain your numbers might be slightly higher then what i would get right? needless to say, very good numbers

anyone else with this head/cam combo? or any guesses?

I could see you pulling 415 rwhp easily, and 400 rwtq. Maybe a bit more on the hp side. Go to the LGM website and look at all the graphs. There has to be at least one g5x2 graph. Good luck. Another option is to talk to the staff. Anthony and Bobby are both very helpful. They have put together thousands of pkgs and been there to see the results. I feel they would be best qualified to answer this question. Again good luck.

Yeah i got the phone with anthony and told him my setup. He said with the cam and stock LS6 heads around 415-430RWHP. Depending on the tune. I also wanted to call to make sure the valve clearence was fine and it was

Well there you go brother. I didn't steer you wrong now did I. When it comes to LGM's combos I got a pretty good grip on them. Talked to a lot of people about getting LGM products, and nearly all of them PM me back and say they are 100% satisfied. One of the most famous complaints I ever heard about an LGM head/cam combo was that it made too much hp and he's pissed that he needs to upgrade his trans. LOL. I almost fell out of my chair when I read that in my PM box. Believe me when I get questions, I fwd them to Bobby and/or Anthony. So if I tell you something, you can rest assured that my info most likely came from one of them directly. Or its my opionion based on my own car that LGM did or my experiences with LGM. Great company to work with.

I never doubted you bro and trust me i will take your word. I always been checking out LG products and heard good stuff from them. Its just now that i got a good deal on the cam and just wondered how much it would make on some ls6 heads. I've looked through there graphs also on the website and didnt see too many close to my setup.

Depends on the dyno, of course. Every one is different. Don't worry about the dyno numbers. That's for ricers. Be glad it's a cam that makes good track times. Rest assured that you won't be disappointed with that cam.

The best testimony to the G5X2 is that both of my tuners say that cam is the cam they would run in their cars.

My guess would be somewhere around the low to middle low 400's, with torque a little lower

I had that cam on a 114 in my zo6. I only made 410rwhp, but it was a solid 11.6 in the quarter (hot or cold days). That cam is really good for daily driving also. Just the right lobe.

sweet, thats nice to hear. Mine is set on a 112 LSA. You think i would also benefit also from a speed density tune as well?

ok, ill probably hold off on the speed density tune.

Now i dont mean to keep asking questions but since im looking to save up for some LS6 heads, you think the Stage 3 Patriot heads PN# 2015 will work? They say its a great choic for "4.00 or larger bore, so it wont work with my stock bottom end displacement?
