Sounds like a good deal, but it is a respectable race shop?

I think so, I have been talking to the guy for a few days and asking him tons of questions and he seems to know alot about porting heads. He has his own flowbench and everything he has said I have found to be true.

Valve job and port work are as critical as it gets for making power. Does he have a good rep with the locals? Check him and his shop out very carefully.

You can get a very decent set of heads from >>>>>>>>>>>>>> for a only few hundred more than what your about to spend. You'll have a very good idea of what to expect etc. Flow numbers have their place but unless he can show you someone running his LS1 stuff that's happy, I'd look else where.

I'd suggest looking at TEA's 1.5 heads with dual springs that are just slightly more expensive over going with an unknown.

Yeah, thought about that, but I think this guy knows what he is doing, he did his heads and runs pretty good numbers with a 224 cam....10.7's over 125mph through an auto.....
