Default need help

i have a mean vibration at almost exactly 2000 rpm , mechanics looked thought it was u joint after pulling drive shaft thats not the case and my diablo programmer reads cylinder mis fire , another mechanic says youve got a coil pack or plug or plug wire out which will cause the vibration and if i floor it its gone , it only comes under light load and the vibration is mean i give it substantial gas and its gone as long as i stay above that , but it will come back going down the high way and wont go away until i floor it , its not the tires , my pinion angle is off a little but passable shocks good etc please could a cylinder mis fire really cause a vibration like this ? but the thing is it felt like a shutter and at one time felt like a wheel hop oh its a 2001 ls1 camaro with a header gasket leak thanks for your help guys , im heart broken she only has 40,000 miles i just got her a month ago
