OK, that's what I figured.

TO HELL with that bolt. Finally got everything back together and there is no more ticking. The SES light is still on. Car runs just like it should but it sounds like there may be an exhaust leak would that cause an SES light to come on??? I ended up having two pushrods bent to hell. One like an L on the driver side and one like an S on the passender side. I changed them all though just to be sure. I'm gonna go pull the codes tomorrow at autozone and post them to see what you guys think.

An exhaust leak can cause you to go lean so don't be mislead by a DTC that points to a O2 sensor when the cause is an exhaust leak. Fix the exhaust leak first then see what happens after you clear the DTC.

There is TDC and then there is TDC. Don't get TDC confused with TDC. It can be very confusing.

P0300 happens on cold mornings with a big aftermarket cam unless you actually have a real problem which in your case it appears you do. How did you bend the pushrods? Did you overrev? You may have other damage yet undiscovered. You need to do compression or leakdown.

The SES light turned off last night while I was driving. Now I am really confused. I turned the car off then started it again and the SES light never came back on.
