ms4 prblem

I have i 98 ls1 and i ordered patriot ls6 heads and a ms4 cam. people are telling me that i dont have to fly cut my pistons but tsp is saying i have too. I need to know for sure buy friday. PLEASE HELP!

Well, if thats what you're hearing directly from TSP...then you probably do.

The MS4 will fit w/o flycutting on a stock head that has not been milled and it has to have stock valve size. When i got my MS4 and heads from TSP they set the valve a little deeper in the head to help clearence.

You have to FLYCUT With Patriot.

Why didnt you talk to TSP for a set of heads??? they can sell you a heads with MS4 Without flycutting and with awesome price with great result too.

Dont know about the patriots. I know with TSP's LS6 stage 1 heads you DO NOT need to flycut. However, the stage 2's you do, or if they are milled.

Send the heads back and call TSP and see if they will still give you the H/C package deal
price. Or flycut I've never done it but you will have the heads off, so you make the call on what you think would be easyer for you.
