torque specs for heads

Default torque specs for heads

ok stripped out a bolt. i want to know the torque specs for the heads.
im using arp head studs
i know the M11's are 20,40,80 ft lbs
but what about the smaller m8 bolts are they the same.
i feel like a retard so help me out.

The stock torque spec should be fine for those little ones. I'd use 22lbft...its a small bolt.

I just did the exact same thing with stripping out a bolt and i put arp head studs in and torqued the little ones to 25ft psi. those dam alumium threads can't take much abuse.

so what are the large studs torqued to?
Studs themselves should be torqued to 5 ft. lbs.
The nuts on the studs should be 65 ft. lbs. for an aluminum block and 70 ft lbs for an iron block as per ARP instructions.
