Default noisy lifters

Short story!!! Bought the car second hand, the first owner modded the hell out of it. It has a cam in it with harland sharp non adjustable roller rockers, and 7.400 trick flow pushrods. The problem I am having is the lifters are noisier than I'd like to hear. My question is how much preload are the lifters supposed to have? Thanks guys..

Preload on stockers is .080>.120

Less than .060 is usualy noisy. longer pushrods needed if with stock rockers.
