mine only lasted 1 summer of driving then i started having valve float at 6200 rpm
swapped to pac-1218 springs and everything has been fine since then running to 6800 rpm+
what do you expect from a set of springs that you can get for $50 a set

I thought they were rated for .580? My redline is set to like 6200 or 6300rpm for now too, if that effects anything. The stock ls6 cam is around .555 lift correct?
Thanks

probably wont last long at all with that lift. So far, my LS6 springs have lasted 20k miles, but my cam is only .525 lift.
Whats wrong with the springs from the link he posted? Thats where I got mine from.
Dont you believe them! What color are they?

Get the double springs which are very stout and last a long time with higher lift cams.
My cam and double REV springs have been in my car for six years now; no issues!
Consequently, I am very glad I used doubles....
