Default Bore with what cam?
I have a great oppurtunity to bore my engine .030 over, and I want to know if the cam/heads setup I have is good enough. I have a comp custom cam .581/.581 224/224 cam. Should I do this or what? Any input will be great.

u can't bore an LS1 "30 over"... the '97/'98's could not be overbored, and '99+ could only go "10 over"... but in any case, ur current setup will be fine... even at "30 over", u'd only be gaining 5 cubic inches...

the blocks r sleeved, they can only be bored a small amount, thats y all the big bore motors have new sleeves installed...

Yeah, if it is re-sleeved, can't it be bored 30 over? I knew it had to be re-sleeved, it has to be re-sleeved anyways.. Thanks...
