Forged motor break-in procedure? About to assemble my forged 347, what's the break-in procedure?
Non-synthetic oil?
RPMs below a certain level?
Vary rpms?
Boost below a certain level?
How many miles for break-in?
When to change oil?
Non-synthetic oil?

Re: Forged motor break-in procedure? um, leave the boost out of the equasion until the rings seat in. you'll have a tough time with making a good seal otherwise. should only take about 2-3 weeks of normal driving. and after the oil change, (back w/ non-synthetic the first change, synthetic when your 125% sure the rings seated.) put the bost to it and start flyin
