Hey!! Help Me Spec a Cam!!!!!
I am currently running the set-up in my sig. I love my TR224. My car is not a DD, doesn't see the track but it's goal is to be a rice killer, basically. As said, it pulls hard now but I want to know if there is a better cam choice for me.
My challenge is that I live at 5100 ft. The air is bad but I need to try.
I know, go forced induction. Convince my wife and wallet of that. Just need to know if there are significant gains to be made through cam swaps while still remaining streetable.
My other option is nitrous or save for a big cube shortblock, which I think is a good option.
Thanks in advance,
tatasta

Spraying is obviously the best bang for buck. Not sure what your heads are milled to so don't know how big you can go on a cam without flycutting but I wouldn't expect you can clear anything that would make any more than 20-25hp over your 224 and drive worth a **** at the sacrifice of some of your lowend. What are your track/dyno #'s now. That 224 is already a rice killer. I would get a 100 shot just for when you need it or want it

careful...nitrous done right is still going to be around $1000 to set up. The lowest cost option for a lot of hp would be nitrous and tune with e85 if it is avaliable in your area. Here are fill stations in NV http://www.e85refueling.com/location...state=nvNevada
