Just get the PRC's for about the same price. Those springs state max lift is at .650....the intake lift on the ms4 is .649. PRC's are good for .660 lift.

Yea PRC's are your better choice and just over $300 and better to know u have that extra insurance for the lift of the ms4. Those springs your looking at would be pushing them to the max lift. Also your car is gonna sound SICK with dual cut outs man, I only have a single 3" qtp cut out and it's loud as hell.

Don't get those springs on Ebay. Get Patriot or PRC dual springs from one of the sponsors. There's a few sponsors that are doing sales right now. I got my Comp pushrods and PRC dual springs (the ones good to .660) for a really good price from Vengeance.

ms4 is a good cam, mine peaked at 6400 so you don't really have to rev it like crazy, but it is on ls6 head's. I don't dd mine, but it could be done, its a little annoying but not too bad on the m6.

I just wanna revv mine out to a max of 6500 rpms....dont wanna take it any farther then that.

as long as you dont care about it bucking a little bit, you can get any size cam you want. nascar runs a 1.000 lift cam... in a 355 with a damn donkey clutch. i had a ms4 with the ls6 tsp heads and it did wonderful, bucked, but did great. now im getting the texas giant.

Mine made peak HP at just under 6,500 rpm with stock heads and LS6 intake. Installing TSP heads and FAST 92, I am sure it will pull more rpms now. The car will sound wicked and definetely move. Just keep in mind the MS4 has very little ptv clearance. My valves kissed my pistons, as did my buddy's MS3.

Theonly way to have Piston to valve contact would be if you stacked a bearing or spun one. On stock heads the MS4 is fine. As everyone else said you just need to make sure and get the supporting mods along with it.

I don't have the MS4, but i have its predecessor in the MS3. I daily drive my car with no problem, and im running the factory 3.42s. If i wanted to take it to the track and put down some good times, i would definetly need gears 4.10+. But driving it daily theres no problem at all, but gears are in the future for me.

The magic stick is too big for any motor LSX motor I wouldn't put it in a LS7 unless I thought I could rev to 9000 rpm.

i daily drove this cam and loved it... every time i cranked it up i got looks... only reason i took it out is i went bigger went to the texas giant in my 408 if i had another stock cube ls1 i would but it again and run the **** out of it the surging will get better with time but its just crusing 1200-1500 rpm really no real loss in lower end really and it just sounds crazy with tru duals lol..... i loved it u will too ohh and all u need is a ls2 chain

we have installed a couple of them in some trucks with 6.0 (lq4's) and the power is great and the driving of daily is alright not that bad 4000 yank stalls with 4.11 gears u got a great conbination cant go wrong with an ms4 cam

lol, stock ls7 cam is 230/211 .591" lift. An ms4 cam would be a mild cam imo for a 408.

I agree with those guys... get the prcs... springs are no place to cheat yourself for a few bucks...
