Are talking about cylinder compression(8 readings) or what?

IMO compression tester readings are worthless for comparing engine to engine. Theyre only handy in comparing cylinder to cylinder in the same block under the same conditions.

You need to calculate your dynamic compression based on components and valvetrain events. That will give you a much more accurate idea of whether it will run on pump gas or not.

I agree. What are your engine specs? Do you have stock heads/pistons, etc.?
