While I was driving the other day my SES light came on, when i came to an idle it idled really funny (kind of lopy and even tried to die once). MY car has only an slp lid and the free egr cut mod done to it. Any guesses to what this might be?
And is my car ok to still drive? it is my daily driver

 

if you just did that EGR mod, my guess would be with that.
Sounds like you have a leak...Dbl check all your connections with your TB, and your EGR connections,,you didnt remove the EGR, just cut the tube right?

 

Right i just shortend the tube, it is still inside the intake

 

i would take it to a local auto parts store and find out where the problem is coming from . does it backfire any ? could be a bad plug or related .
