Default Power question

I'm getting a graduation present from my brother, he offered to pay for half of something that i wanted to add to my car. either headers or an ls6 intake.

i already have pipes, but no headers, just the stock headers.

what would be a better choice?

Headers, because you can both feel and hear that. You won't be disappointed.

yea, im giong to end up getting the headers, and buy new pipes too, the guy before me welded and did everything himself. ill have to cut what he did to make it fit the new headers, way too much work.

any opinions on some good kits, or what headers are the best bang for you buck?

Pacesetter coated racing headers w/ offroad Y will set you back $500. They're probably the cheapest coated headers. FYI - You probably should've put this thread in the Gen III External Engine forum.

Does the car have a catback on it now you will be reusing?

If so get the Ceramic coated pacesetter with y for $510 from texas speed, or if not get the headers for $380 and their true duals for $430.
