Default How much HP will I add...

So I just ordered Pacesetter Long tube headers and an off road 3" y-pipe... How much hp do you ballpark it is over a stock setup? I already have Borla catback, so we'll be using that still.

Dont forget a tach that reads up to 12K RPM with a shift light. Those are good for around 10 HP or so. LOL

Sorry couldnt resist.

On a serious note, Thats the best first mod in my opinion. Get the exhaust squared away and pick up your 20-25 hp. You can drive around on the stock tune with no truoble.

When the exhaust is done, that opens the doors for what ever cam/intake package you want to do (within reason that is).

Gotta make it breathe before you start moding the crap out of it.

Once you get your intake, cam and whatever...then have it tuned and then it all clicks together!

that is definitely going to be my first mod. its the best idea, first for me is exhaust, then an ls6 intake.

You've got the right mentality.

Those are good HP gains for headers. Does it matter what size headers you get for the 20-25hp range?

LT's are the best, you can get good gains from certain mids, shorties are better than stockers.

Ya, I'll have my full exhaust done tomorrow. I have the SLP air lid already...so now I figure I need a decent intake mani (LS6?) and possibly throttle body? Then after that's done I'll get a custom ground cam + tune. I'll definitely want subframe connectors and lowering springs by then. You think with all of that it'll put down 400whp? I want to do 400+whp all motor, then I'll consider a little juice for those emergencies haha.

With:

lid
TB
LS6 intake manifold
headers
y-pipe
exhaust
the right cam & springs
tune

It's very possible to get 400rwhp.
