Re: 427 question Alot of our sponsors sell 427ci engines. It will be difficult to find an ultra-cheap price on them due to the expensive hardware that there is very little markup on. The cranks are still expensive, as well as resleeving blocks. Until we get some cast LS1 cranks, don't expect the prices to drop very much.

Re: 427 question Give MTI a call! They have about the best prices from the major tuners, on their resleeved 427 c.i. aluminum bare blocks, resleeved to 4.125, and costing i believe $1,995.00. Of course the other components needed, especially the crank and heads are quite expensive, but maybe you can do a slow buildup, etc.

Re: 427 question Yeah i tossed that Idea around, I'm getting ready to start college but i'm living at home for the next two years at least so I don't know how much time I'll have for building up an engine yet. I was also tossing around the idea of going with a forged stock cubed bottom end with a good set of heads and juicing the **** out of it. Thanks for the ideas guys
