Default Shipping Motor

I am shipping a motor to JPR.. I have a few questions..What is the average weight of a block without the heads? Do you need to crate the motor, and if so easiest way to do it? Any recommendations on who to call to ship it? Any info or lessons learned would help on this subject. Thanks

Shortblock with the crate weighs roughly 200 LBS, I called FED-EX freight they were the cheapest I could find.
