Anyone running one of these the cams and are they anygood. found some on ebay for $229.

Give it any crazy name you want, but they are most likely all Comp Cams. Anyone can order any spec they want for the same price.... no need to scrounge around eBay for some Joe Blow cam.

 

I didnt find them on ebay. are you sure about teh name? I only found a bunch of comp grinds for 380 ish.

I did type in "ls1 cam" and i didnt see anything other than comp grinds and an occasional GMPP cam. sorry.

 

in the store part at the bottom click on the ones that say stage 2 or some stupid crap......

 

Man, you guys must be on a different ebay than me! I see come comp cams for 270 that were used for dyno testing. Somebody PM me a link. I took my stoopid pills this morning apparently.

wow, that really didnt come up in an ebay search for me no matter what I typed. Very strange.

Anyway, I cant tell if theyre rebranded from a more popular company. but with the issues even reputable cam companies have had with LS1 cams in teh past, I dont think Id chance it. Ive seen cam spalling from improperly ground cams or improper hardening first hand. Id just wait for a good deal from a sponsor.

 

Either way i rather spend the money, and get a cam or have on custom spec'd by a known shop TSP/LG/Thunder etc.
