Mike I will have some new ET's soon.
My best with them was 11.31@120
details at the time were
700 ft DA
216/220 cam
3.23 gears
et streets on stock rims
through a cutout.
there was more left in it I just never got it back to the 1/4 mile track.

I am having them do up a set of 5.3 heads for me now to go on my 382,I will post up when it is done.

what was the DA at the time of his runs? I am at 1000 ft elevation so I don't get the mineshaft air texas/east coast is famous for. I did take 3rd place (pure street /auto n/a)at the north vs south shootout with a trans that wouldn't shift into 3rd gear so I was very happy with combo (cept for my trans )

IMO track times don't mean **** unless they happen at the same track on the same day.Thats why I wanted to see a heads and hyd cam, stock cubic inch class at some of these shootouts. What better way to seperate the hero's from the zero's.

none yet... waiting for fall weather. Ive been 11.50 untuned with just the cam, so hopefully ill be a little faster with the TEA heads this fall. More than likely ill probably just run crappy times since they will be my first passes on new setup.

no one has 10's yet on TEA or AS heads NA I believe? I know Hardtop and Larry01Z28 will be 2 TEA cars to watch for this fall. Provided they can get past me at the track LMAO

For that matter nothing means ****! For an acurate comparison you've got to have the same car same suspension same day. There are far to many differences between cars, suspentions tunes, etc. Ported heads are for the most part ported heads among our sponsors. Most head porters have the same data, there may be a few horse power difference between them. Most people arent even using the power they have (meaning putting it to the ground). That is obvious by the times the N/A stock motor guys are putting down! Buy a good set of heads, but consentrate on using the power you have payed for!

I don't understand how having TEA or AS heads makes you car a TEA or AS car There is alot more varibles then just who's heads you have on the car.

H82BBAD has a good point about same day, track, ect. For what its worth the DA when I ran 11.33 was 800-1000. My race weight was about 3525-3575 pounds. Will be a bit lighter, and have a different cam in this fall. Mike why don't some of you guys come down to MIR for the www.easternfbody.com shoot out this fall. Then we can compare setups on the track.

I would disagree with you about heads making similar power from different vendors. I've seen multiple heads come to MTI that had been ported by other vendors and have the cars pick up 15-25 rwhp. True most people don't have the suspesion, gear and tires to take full advantage of their set up.

lafngas98z that is exactly my point, there are some people who are trying to say that their reason for buying their heads were becuase of track times. well so far there is not a tea HEADED car running in the 10s or even the 11.00 range.
goducks your right, i was only asking about heads
hardtop that sounds awesome. i will be testing my car out as soon as this f-in rain lets up here.
99 blackbirdta, funny how i posted up top no dyno #s lets see track times then you go right back to dyno #'s my car dyno'd 530 sae unlocked going REAL lean on a mustang dyno. thats why i went with the speedinc fuel system. i should be redynoing in a couple of weeks.

I hear ya on the rain Mike. You would think Md. had moved into the Amazon with all the rain we've had. Can't wait for the cool dry air of fall.
