Re: TEA head guys post E.T's please
Mike, bring some of the AS and TEA boys down for our shootout Oct 4th! I know East Side is trying to get some Cartek boys down here when they come. The NA class will be loads of fun Should be some very close racing.
But im with ya'll on the ET's. Look at the stock boys running mid 11's now. Hell its plenty heads/cam cars that cant even hit friggin 11's. You have to work with what you got and take the time to learn the setup on the track. Its no reason why most heads/cam cars shouldnt be in the 11.0-3's. Heck its cam only cars running low 11's! I just hope the weather is good Oct 4th for some new bests! My rear isnt gonna like more than 1 pass LMAO(if that)

I am very impressed with your car. I am wondering what converter you have. Anyway keep up the good work.

it was a 4400 extreme when I ran that. The sad part is I swapped over to a tp4400 (3 mounting holes) and a bigger cam but never got a chance to run it in good weather. I am building a TEA headed 382 right now.

i have a 99 vette, 6 speed , stock 3.42 gear, stock throttle body, no dyno tuning, and with a granny shift at 5500, as it will not shift at 6500 until i put in the mccloed adj master, car ran as follows:
11.90 at 123mph with 1.90 60'
421 ironblock stroker
TEA stage 3 2.08/1.6 valves
24?+ cam, over 600 lift, yella terra's, stainless works headers, ghl rear section, 11.3 range on the compression, etc, etc.
car with good 60', throttle body, tuning, and a gear along with the ability to shift at max rpm, car will run in the 10's, can drive it anywhere, with the air on in 95 plus degree weather and still gets 29 mpg on the highway. so with thta being said, TEA is my choice for heads. joe in memphis

All motor Mike? that was what you asked?
I will admit at least dyno numbers are corrected.
Hell correct my times down to the -1500 feet some of the others on the list have had.
So the only true way to tell the difference between a package is to run the same cars on the same dyno on the same day.
Or have a track day at the same track on the same day.
I bet your car is nice but I think with a power adder that isn't very fast for a heads and cam car.
