have been talking to the likes of brian at TEA, great conversation i might add, and ron at a co. referred to me by comp cams named et performance. am trying to decide on a head combo for the 422 iron block buildup. hyd roller, 242/242, 610 lift range, looking at 2.08 valves/1.6, but the question is this: do i run a 5.3, a 5.7 or a ls6 casting for thius stage 3+ setup? some of you guys may have some input and experience that i would greatly appreciate. am told that there have been some ls6 issues in regard to thickness in the seat area, etc. thanks for all of your help. joe

The LS6 head is what you want. The intake ports can be opened up to 250 cc's or so, for max flow with a stroker motor.
