What type of sealant do I use to seal the spacers (rollmaster) on oil pump? Thanks.

The best sealant/gasket maker for all types of fluids is "Hylomar".
Available at most auto parts stores for about$4.

I did not use a sealant on my Rollmaster since the valve in the pump has a tendency to clog and reduce oil pressure. The directions also do not indicate that you should install these with a sealant.

You need to use a good high temp silicone, black or red RTV will do. Use a thin film on both sides of the spacer. Clean all the surfaces up with brake cleaner or some other solvent. Dont use so much that it squeezes out into the pump. The sealer keeps the spacer from weeping.
