Default I/E efficiency and cam selection.....

What is the general rule of thumb when choosing cams? What % of i/e efficiency do you want a split or single pattern cam? 70% 75% 80% and how much split?

Philip,

On a similar note when looking at the flow numbers to create the percentage, should one look at numbers with intake in place and pipe on exhaust or without intake in place and without pipe in place?

That data will skew the percentage depending on how it's plugged in.
