I just completed putting new head gaskets on my car and fire it up tonight. it started and ran perfectly but it didn't show a lick of oil pressure or gas, until i cut the car back off, then they both rose to where they needed to be. any thoughts on why such a thing would be happening????

 

did you check all of the grounds on the back of the head?

 

oil sending unit maybe?
