Default Is diffrence in cams major?

EDELBROCK
Lift Duration @ 0.050"
.573" I / .580" E 207° I / 220° 118° 2218

vs

ZO6
Duration@.050: 205* intake, 219* exhaust
Lift: 0.551 intake, 0.549 exhaust
LSA: 117.4

I have the 02 ZO6 cam goin' in my 5.3 and was wondering if I was wasting my time or of if I'll get the bang for my buck seeing as I only paid 130 bucks for the cam? Or should I just stop bein a tight wad n get a bigger streetable cam? Is there any other cams I should look at? Does anyone know where I can get some cm pushrods and valvesprings for this setup? any info will be very appreciated.

I'd say its major as you could easily over double the hp with a differnet cam but hard to beat the budget used Z06 cam. I'd buck since you have it apart. I am putting a rutbo kit on my 01 T/A and had it ripped apart. I said what the hell, why not swap out the cam so I got a used tr224 and can't wait

I offer PAC racing springs and Comp pro magnum pushrods as a package deal. I also off a cam package and can have a Comp cam custom ground for you with pushrods and springs. The advantage to the PAC 1518 good to .650 lift is you dont have to change seat and seals to use it. Its a true drop in replacement, nitrided premium spring.
