What all does it take What all do i need if i order a 408 short block to put in place of my ls1 in my 02 camaro ....
I have heads and cam ! I have tsp ls6 stg 2.5 and a trek cam the 92/92 INTAKE!

might want to sell that cam and get one spec'd for the 408. 408 like different characteristics to make power than a 346. other than that you will need to buy new gaskets. and everything else should transfer right over from your ls1.
Decent set of heads and a cam matched to them. My short block will handle all you can throw at it. My guess is with a medium sized cam and set of Edelbrock 245 heads you'll be over 500 at the wheels. Heads are all about your budget. My signature Callies 408 is $4292 plus freight $4042 for Eagle crank and rods instead.
The good thing about the edelbrocks is that they'll take your stock rockers. You could throw some TFS on there instead for more money and make more power. I sell WCCH heads so I can add them to it easy enough for you or TFS as well. Or you could go with the L92's and a single plane and make some power as well. Bunch of different options for heads, all depends on the budget really.
