Default TR 230/224 111 lsa cam

anyone who has this cam i am wondering if it would work well with a ported set of heads and a 100-150 shot of N2O? also what kind of power is being made with this cam, i've seen TR's website with the dyno graph where a f-car made 410 rwhp but i have a 04 GTO A4. if its not a good cam to use them i'm going to be going with the S cam.

It's really two way different cams. The TR230 is a reverse split cam which is meant to make great power under the curve and also be very good on the street. It will be pretty tough to hit 410rwhp as TR advertises, but it's not impossible with the right setup. The S cam should make more power and just be a nastier top end cam, but maybe with slightly worse street manners, but it's really all in the tune. I would think either cam would respond to nitrous well, so it depends on what you want when just cruising and not spraying. My vote would be for the S cam. Bigger is always better!
