Really need help

Default Really need help

ok i have the car in my sig of coarse.....all the free mods ect......after driving the car for a little bit it just starts sputtering and dies like it is out of gas...If i let it set for a bit it starts up and drives fine but couple hours or so later same thing it has done this 5 times now and gets worse everytime...i have a brand new fuel pump and filters are both new....


When it starts to die it starts to jump like a vacum leak and high rev then goes down to barley idleing hten jumps up again and goes up and down then just dies...
Can any one help me this is my daily driver.....

Recent mods are p&p tb and new trans

does it have an ses light on? 6 speed or automatic?

I would guess something in the fuel system, filter or pump (probably not pump, but who knows) but if it happened right after your modifications, perhaps it is linked to the throttle body...I had a bad Throttle position sensor and my car did the same sort of thing, only the "high rev" i got was up to about 2100 rpms, and it never died... If there are codes throwing the SES light then get those checked out...the scanner at Advance Auto Parts was able to point out (one of) the problem(s) as the TPS, which I knew was going bad anyway after my h/c swap.
