Default diffrence in lifters.

whats the diffrence in lifters, the one on the left is outta my 2001 LS1 the other is outta 2001 6.0
notice how the bleed hole is on the side for the truck and the LS1 is 90deg off and the roler is open as oppesed to a closed on the truck....
bottom line, does it make a dam bit of diffrence wich one i use..

Word I got from JPR is that sometime in 01 GM switched brands, or really used two different brands and that was the reason my JPR lifter tool didnt work. Anyway, I can tanswer your question, but if that was the only difference, that in fact you are showing the two different lifters, then yes you could use either. same dimensionally.
