comp 918's
Well i can get these valve springs for about half the cost of the dual valve springs by PRC..The new ones are rated to .625 lift and the cam im going to be running is a tsp 233/239 .595"/.603" 113 LSA...Should i get these or not be so cheap and get the PRC Dual valve springs?
Get the PRC duals or the Patriot duals...you can't go wrong with either of them..I ran a set of the PRC duals for 45,000 miles (cam was 233/233 .598/.598 112 LSA) and have 30,000 miles on a set of Patriot duals right now. With all the problems with the 918s breaking I can't beleive that you would even consider them...
You could also get the PAC 1518 which is a direct drop in replacement good to .650 lift. I offer them for $265 delivered. Its a true premium nitrided spring built specificaly for the ls1 to be a direct drop in replacement.
PAC used to make springs for Comp until Comp switched and Comp has been having issues ever since.
