need a question answered fast ok i bought a slp under drive pulley a while ago and now finally started to put it on and it has a key way but the stock pulley doesn't it is for a 98-02 so if you have any answers for me please hit me back asap
also it that gm j tool absolutely nessasary or will a good old fashion impact work too ??

my buddy just put one of these on recently and he called slp i believe they said the key way was extra precaution for supercharged or high hp applications but not necissary for a bolt on car... not sure about the j tool though
