ordered the older style head gaskets from sdpc that are right/left specific. i'm putting ls2 heads onto my 98 ls1 block. did i get the right ones or does it matter? thanks.

i also ordered the 97-2003 head bolt kit for ls1 and not the 2004 and up kit. will this work or did i screw up big time?

i think you are good . the 04+ bolts are different for our cars block .
